SENIOR BACKEND NODE.JS / FASTIFY ENGINEER

About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer specialized in Node.js and TypeScript to support the development of APIs, orchestration services, workers and integrations for a robotics and AI SaaS platform.

Requisitos: Responsibilities Design and develop backend services using TypeScript and Node.js. Build and maintain APIs using Fastify. Develop domain-specific route plugins and services.

Implement business logic as reusable and testable functions. Work directly with PostgreSQL using parameterized SQL queries. Design efficient database queries and data access patterns.

Develop background workers and asynchronous processes. Implement orchestration and scheduling logic. Integrate external APIs and robotics platforms.

Implement authentication, authorization and tenant-scoping mechanisms. Diagnose and resolve production issues. Participate in architecture and code reviews.

Optimize API and database performance.Required Skills 5+ years of backend development experience. Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience. Strong REST API development experience.

Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills. Experience with Fastify or comparable Node.js frameworks. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming.

Experience designing scalable backend systems. Experience working with external APIs. Strong understanding of security and authentication.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluent conversational and written English is required. Ability to communicate directly with U.S.-based clients and engineering teams.Nice to Have Fastify 5.
