Evaluation Specialist
The Evaluation Specialist is responsible for making outbound calls to individuals who have requested assistance with applying for Social Security Disability benefits. The primary focus of the role is to connect with prospective clients, conduct an initial eligibility evaluation, gather key information regarding their medical condition and work history, and determine whether they may qualify for Social Security Disability programs. Qualified individuals are then transitioned to the next step in the intake process through a warm transfer to an Intake Specialist. The position requires strong communication skills, persistence, empathy, and the ability to build trust while guiding potential clients through the first stage of their disability claim journey.
Primary Responsibilities
• Initiate contact with leads uploaded into the system.
• Conduct telephone evaluations using structured qualifying questions.
• Determine which Social Security Disability programs a claimant may qualify for.
• Address and overcome claimant objections and concerns.
• Complete warm transfers to Intake Specialists when a claimant qualifies.
Distinction from Intake Specialist
Evaluation Specialists are not Intake Specialists and are focused on outbound dialing and pre-qualification.
Preferred qualifications:
• 2+ years direct outbound/inbound call center experience
• 2+ years telephone sales experience
• Strong English communication skills
• Schedule flexibility for business needs


Computer and Internet Requirements:
RAM: 8GB or higher
Storage: Solid State Drive (SSD) preferred
Processor: Intel Core i5-9400 or higher/AMD Ryzen 5 or higher.
Operating System:
• macOS: Version 13.0 or later
• Windows: Windows 11 or later
Internet:
• Minimum: 100 Mbps download / 50 Mbps or more upload (Fiber optic recommended)
• Ethernet cable connection is required (Wi-Fi only is not acceptable)
